WP Tally finally got another update! Most of what was changed tonight was usability changes: we reworked the search results to utilize a tabbed interface, and tweaked a few things in the table itself to prevent text overflow in certain circumstances. However, we also added a new feature that’s long overdue… sorting!
This update applies to both the website and the API. On the website, there is now a new sorting bar beneath the search results header which allows you to choose whether to sort by plugin or theme name, or by the number of downloads the item has had, as well as whether to sort ascending or descending. In the API, the same functionality can be achieved by adding order-by
and sort
parameters to the API request. Find out more in the API docs!
